Stigler, the seat of Haskell County, is located on the eastern side of Oklahoma near the border of Arkansas. With just about 3,000 residents, this is a small and peaceful town in the heart of the country. It's a little over 10 miles west of Robert S. Kerr Lake, and even less distance from Lake Eufaula.
You can reach the urban center of McAlester in under an hour as well. Stigler is served by State highways 9 and 82.
